Home Alone In Concert is coming to Liverpool for Christmas 2023.
This December, the ‘90s family favourite comedy will be shown in arenas around the UK, while the film’s score is performed live by a full orchestra and choir. Home Alone features the remarkable Grammy and Oscar nominated score by renowned composer John Williams.
The film will be accompanied by The Heritage Orchestra, who will perform the iconic score live on stage. Founded almost 20 years ago, The Heritage Orchestra has worked with some of the world’s biggest including Becky Hill, Björk, Jamie Cullum and Massive Attack. A live choir will accompany the orchestra throughout the film.

The 1990 seasonal blockbuster, starring Macaulay Culkin as Kevin, the eight-year-old mistakenly left at home by his family, combines festive favourites with a score by John Williams which bristles with brassy fanfares, gliding strings and glistening percussion.
Lucy Noble, artistic director at AEG Artistic Presents, said “Families up and down the country sit down to watch Home Alone together every Christmas, so it’s wonderful to be able to bring such a huge part of the festive season to life with Home Alone In Concert.
“Even if you’ve seen the film plenty of times over the past 30 years, nothing compares to hearing that iconic score performed in full by the sensational Heritage Orchestra. It’s a great opportunity to bring the kids to see such a renowned Christmas film, while experiencing the magnificence of a full live orchestra.
“With holiday fun for the entire family, the concert really will bring that extra bit of Christmas magic this year.”
Chris Wheeler, CEO and artistic director of The Heritage Orchestra, added: “We’re thrilled to be a part of this tour with AEG Artistic Presents. Home Alone is such an iconic film with a truly tremendous score, so to be bringing the music of one of the greatest composers ever to such huge venues is an honour. This is our very first film in concert tour, and we’re excited to add the genre of film music as a string to our multifaceted bow.”
