Hollywood stars John Cena and Idris Elba have been spotted around Liverpool.
The actors, who have previously starred alongside one another in DC's 2021 film The Suicide Squad, have stopped to pose with fans and headed to local businesses while in the city. According to IMBD, John and Idris are set to star together in a new Amazon Studios action-comedy film called Heads of State.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller, the film will also star Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Stephen Root. Yesterday, photos and videos emerged on social media of WWE star John Cena at the JD Gym branch on Dale Street in the city centre.

Wearing a black top and black cap, the wrestler smiled and gave the peace sign as he took a photo with JD personal trainer Sam. Taking to Twitter, JD Gyms said: "Check out this photo of our amazing Personal Trainer Sam at JD Gyms Liverpool Dale Street posing next to our logo. What a guy...what a gym."
Many also took to Twitter to share their photos in the gym with the star. Last month, Scousers "couldn't cope" as the famous actor and wrestler showed off his Liverpool accent. While doing a promotional tour for his new film, Fast X, John sat down with BBC Radio 1, who attempted to teach him about "real British culture."

Yesterday, Luther star Idris Elda was also out and about in the city centre, visiting one of the city's much-loved restaurants. Taking to Instagram, Papillon on Hope Street shared a photo of Idris outside on the popular street.
