Welsh film and singing star Luke Evans has said he would "love" to be partnered with Welsh Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden if he was to take part in the BBC series. Luke recently performed Bridge Over Troubled Water on the Strictly results show.
Talking on the Strictly Come Dancing TikTok page Luke said he would like to dance with Amy as she is "from Wales" and a "lovely woman". He said: "The person I would love to dance with on Strictly would be Amy Dowden because she is from Wales and I have met her and she is a lovely woman and she is an amazing dancer."
Luke went on to say he would love to dance to The Power Of Love by Jennifer Rush and would like to dance the Rhumba as it is "slow and sensual". He would wear a "slick black suit" for the dance.

Amy posted the TikTok to her Instagram story with the caption of four shocked faces and "THANK YOU @THEREALLUKEEVANS" followed by pink love heart emojis. The comments on the TikTok video were filled with fans calling for Luke to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
One said: "Luke Evans has to be on Strictly he would be amazing" and another added: "I would love to see Luke dance on Strictly" followed by a purple love heart emoji. A third said: "Luke and Amy dream pairing".
Recently Luke has teamed up with fellow Welsh sensation and close friend singer Charlotte Church to collaborate on a new single. The pair have covered the Moulin Rouge track Come What May, as they combine their amazing Welsh voices on the track. Luke, who had a successful West End career before starring roles in The Hobbit, Dracula Untold and Beauty and the Beast, announced the news on his Instagram.
