Liverpool's win over Crystal Palace on Sunday has seen Jurgen Klopp's side narrow the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City - but much of the focus has orientated around a late penalty.
Virgil van Dijk and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain netted in the first half to put Liverpool in control but Crystal Palace were not out of it and, having spurned a number of decent opportunities in the first half, finally scored 10 minutes after the restart through Odsonne Edouard.
The hosts continued to pile on the pressure on Liverpool and it seemed that a third goal would be required from Klopp's men to put the result beyond any doubt.
