Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter reveals "insta reality" of becoming a mum with "poonami explosion" and "hangry baby"

On Sunday night she shared from her "date night" with her fiance and newborn son at Manchester's swanky The Ivy restaurant, but Jorgie Porter posted a very different look from a shopping trip with her baby boy a couple of days later. The Hollyoaks beauty provided a "dose" of reality on her Instagram - a picture of the new mum with her "hangry" baby after a "poonami explosion" that ended up all over her.

Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel Four soap Hollyoaks, joked as she Instagrammed a snap of herself looking up from a chair as she fed baby Forest, with most of the mess covered over with a poo emoji. "Thinking my page was looking a little too perfect so here’s a bit of insta reality," she said with a laughing emoji.

"This is me praying to the gods for a way to get out of the toilet cubicle in one piece!" she said. "Hangry hangry baby and a poonami explosion all over me, yes all over me!"

She added: "I had to call for reinforcements or I would still be sat there now." And she pleaded: "Parents tell me this has happened to you too??" And Jorgie received a raft of supportive messages and praise for speaking out.

glamourlengthshair replied:Omg noway, totally feel for you you got to laugh otherwise your just cry lol x" kellymariedoe applauded: "Love this, it’s the real deal but these are times u can laugh about, ur doing great mama, love how real u are."

xxdonnaj88xx told her: "Omg this is so relatable!! I've been there before in the Asda baby changing /toilet facility with my little girl. Felt like I was in there hours and thought the security staff would kick the door down wondering what I was doing. Deffo a time you can laugh about and look back on welcome to parenthood xx"

sharelle_xo said: "This has happened to me so many times had to send husband to shop to get me new clothing." njesmith1128 messaged: "We all hear you mumma." And georginatomlin commented: "Thank you for posting real mum life!"

Jorgie looked sensational as she headed out for a meal with her man Oliver Piotrowski and their son at the weekend. Jorgie, 35, welcomed Forest in November and has been keeping fans updated on her Instagram about parenthood.

She shared a video of herself during the meal attempting to handle chopsticks at The Ivy while cradling her boy. "Holding Forest and eating with chopsticks! I think I need more practice," she captioned it with a laughing emoji.

In one post at Christmas she shared pictures of herself breastfeeding Forest on the sofa. "If you need me you can find me here for the foreseeable," she captioned the pictures as she jokingly referred to her son as the "boob monster."

The couple announced they were expecting in June in an adorable video on Instagram. The heart-warming clip showed the actress from Eccles, her man and their dog moving their hands - and paw - to unveil the sonogram photo.

The compliments came pouring in as she posted a couple of snaps of herself outside the restaurant with her son in his pram. She looked super-chic in a belted dark green jacket and black heels.

Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan gasped: "Wow hot mum." xx_lauralulu82_xx exclaimed: "You look fabulous!!!" And abi_laney told her: "You look amazing."

The following day the trio embarked on a special trip to register Forest's birth. Jorgie explained: "We're going to do something which is probably the biggest thing in Forest's life right now. Today he's getting registered. Big day for Forest."

Jorgie previously sent a supportive message to fellow mums about cluster feeding as she opened up about her breastfeeding journey. "Feel like he’s growing so much at the moment, it’s cluster feeding non stop," she explained. "Still in total amazement of what the female body can do."

She then added: "Anyone else going through this stage I hope the remote control is close, snacks are handy and someone is supplying you with endless cups of tea and refilling your water bottle! The thirst is real! #firsttimemum #postpartum."
