There is panic when Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) goes into labour in tonight’s Hollyoaks on at 7pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).
Heavily pregnant with twins, Mercedes is in a spin when her labour starts and she finds herself locked in at Casa McQueen.
Thankfully, Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) is by her side, but finding themselves trapped it’s all down to Warren to act as midwife as Mercy’s contractions come thick and fast.
A panicked Warren desperately calls for help and is able to ring the hospital who keep him on the line and talk him through how he can help deliver the babies.
The first baby arrives safely but there is more panic when the second twin is stuck and unable to be delivered. A terrified Warren begs for help.
Will the paramedics be able to get to them in time and get access to the house
Elsewhere, Grace Black (Tamara Wall) tells her new husband, Freddie Roscoe (Charlie Clapham) that she needs to get him and his daughter, Lexi (Marnie Fletcher), out of the country as soon as possible.
Grace explains to Freddie that she has blagged her way out of prison by lying that she was seriously ill.
Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) is taken aback when he discovers gangster, Rex (Jonny Labey) locked in the bathroom and no sign of Freddie!
A raging Rex tells Ste he has one last chance to get to Freddie before it’s too late
Meanwhile, Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) tells Jeremy Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) to stay away from her as he is terrifying her.
Jeremy tries to make amends and it looks like he might be winning her round when Maxine later tells Dilly Harcourt (Emma Johnsey-Smith) that she’s ready to give Jeremy another chance.
However, Dilly has got her own doubts about Jeremy and Max is shocked when Dilly reveals she found one of Jeremy’s shirts covered in blood.
The suspicions grow even deeper when Freya Calder (Ellie Henry) reveals that Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) is missing and was last seen having a row with Jeremy. Maxine tells Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) and Pearl (Dawn Hope) her fears that something is seriously wrong.
The plot thickens when Maxine can hear Scott’s phone ringing in Jeremy’s shed. What exactly has happened to Scott?
Plus, Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) gets Zoe to shut down teenagers Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) and Lucas Hay’s (Oscar Curtis) fledgling business. The lads are enraged and as revenge post a picture online of Tom falling into the paddling pool. But Tom quickly bites back and starts a poster campaign to discredit their business.
It’s battle of the businesses but who will come out on top? The teens or Tom?
