Hollyoaks star Glynis Barber has hinted at the show-changing secret Norma Crow finally reveals this week, with repercussions ahead.
Norma drops a huge confession on Warren Fox amid her plans to force him to work for her, and ditch his family.
But the truth about her past leaves Warren reeling amid dramatic events across the week, as a series of stunts unfold.
Now, speaking exclusively to The Mirror actress Glynis spilled on what was ahead for Warren and Norma amid danger for the duo.
While remaining coy over what the secret is and whether it is linked to Warren, as fans have predicted, the star teased there could be big consequences ahead.
She said: "In the stunt, we are going to learn something about Norma that fuel’s her motivation and that is probably what has brought her to Hollyoaks in the first place.
"It’s something that I have known from the beginning, that absolutely nobody else knows, so in a way I’m really looking forward to the audience, and other cast, finding out so we can all talk about it.
"The coming storylines focus on what we do with this information and where do Norma and Warren go from here, which is quite fun to film."
On what's ahead for Norma and Warren, she went on: "He just keeps trying to kill her that’s the only problem, so how do we get over that, and can we reach a compromise where they’re working together, that is her aim.
"All I can say is in the aftermath of the stunt, and the hospital, she goes to quite extreme lengths to get him to toe the line.
"The big question is how does she do that. As you know Norma will stop at nothing, and the question is can he be tamed or is he playing her along. It is a bit of a cat and mouse with him."
Glynis also revealed what it has been like filming with co-star Jamie Lomas, who plays Warren.
She said: "It's lovely filming with Jamie! Believe it or not we have a good laugh offscreen! He’s really nice and looks after me.
"Years ago when I was in Emmerdale albeit quite briefly I worked with his sister Charley Webb. I also met Jamie a couple of times before filming here but just very briefly, so I did know him and obviously I knew Charley.
"What was really nice was, before I even told anyone about this role, I got a message from Jamie that was really nice. He said he was so excited that I was coming in and we were going to have lots of scenes together. He was really happy so that was lovely."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode on E4 at 7pm.
