Hollyoaks aired the death of serial killer Silas Blissett on Wednesday night, as the hour-long stunt episode aired on E4.
The serial killer began his reign of terror back in 2010, and went on to claim the lives of six people in the village, five of whom were women.
Silas had also killed his wife back in the 90s and one of his victims later on was his own daughter Heidi.
He also attempted to kill several other women including Mercedes and Theresa McQueen, and his latest return to the show saw him plot to end the family for once and for all.
Long-time nemesis Mercedes was once again kidnapped by Silas who was after her son Bobby, his grandson, and soon all of the family were tricked into playing along with his evil games in a fight for survival.
Silas didn't kill a McQueen this time around though, and in fact it was a McQueen that killed him for once and for all.
His grandson Bobby, aged 11, was almost tricked into fleeing with Silas, before he realised what he had done - and what he had tried to do to his mum.
During the episode Silas claimed his final victim, as he took the life of police officer Lexi Calder.
After being tricked by him, Silas turned on her and murdered her in shocking scenes.
But later it was time for justice, as Silas met a gruesome fate when Bobby pushed him onto the electrified chessboard Silas had set up to kill the McQueens with.
Mercedes was horrified as she watched her son shove Silas onto the board with a smirk on his face, as Silas fell to his death.
Picking up his cap and book, Bobby walked away from the crime scene triumphantly, no doubt teasing he could follow in his footsteps after he left his stepfather Sylver to die earlier this year.
Silas had been teased to kill again this week, but his death remained under wraps until transmission.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode on at 7pm on E4.
