Holly Willoughby throws lavish wild woodland party for son Chester's 8th birthday

Holly Willoughby has been celebrating her son Chester's eighth birthday by throwing him a lavish wild woodland themed party.

The TV presenter took to her Instagram page to share an insight into the special day.

The mum-of-three posted a photo of the bedroom where woodland theme decorations were set up.

A photo showed two single beds with camouflage printed bed covers, log cushions as well as camouflage netting and indoor festoon lighting.

Holly wrote on the sweet snap: "Party time… thank you @teepeevibetribe."

The birthday party company also shared a post of their own that said: "So lovely to be asked back by Holly Willoughby to set up a Birthday sleepover for Chester. Our 'Wild Woodland' Camping theme was a big hit with the boys!"

Holly also posted a rare photo alongside her youngest son Chester.

She and her husband Dan Baldwin tend to keep their three children out of the limelight, usually covering their faces from the camera.

Alongside the picture, Holly wrote: "Early morning blurry snuggles with the birthday boy… Happy 8th Birthday Chester…we love you so very much."

This comes as Holly and her co-presenter Phillip Schofield received backlash after they were falsely accused of jumping the queue when the Queen was lying in state.

The pair went to Westminster Hall to report on the event so were able to go into the press line instead of the public queue.

However, some thought that they had skipped the queue which caused a petition to be created calling for the presenters to be sacked from their This Morning slot.

The pair were there as accredited broadcasters and their footage was featured in the show.

Phil and Holly released a lengthy statement explaining the situation and saying that they would never jump a queue.

On their show, alongside photos and videos from them reporting from Westminster Hall, Holly said in a pre-recorded message: "We were given official permission to access the hall, it was strictly for reporting on the event for millions of people in the UK who haven't been able to visit Westminster in person. The rules were, that we would be quickly escorted around the edges to a platform at the back. In contrast, those paying respect stood on a carpeted area beside the coffin and were given time to pause."

She concluded: "We, of course, respected those rules. However, we realised it may have looked like something else and therefore totally understand the reaction. Please know we would never jump the queue."

ITV also released a statement at the time that read: "Hello everyone, we would like to clarify something. We asked Phillip and Holly to be part of a film for this Tuesday’s programme. They did not jump the queue, have VIP access or file past the Queen lying in state - but instead were there in a professional capacity as part of the world’s media to report on the event."
