Holly Willoughby has received an outpouring of support from her friends and co-stars after sharing news of a heartbreaking death in the family.

The This Morning star took to Instagram to pay a moving tribute to her late mother-in-law Sandra, beloved mum to her husband Dan Baldwin and grandmother to the pair's three children. Posting a smiley picture of herself alongside Sandra on a sunny day out, Holly wrote: "Sleep well Sandra… Nonna, Mother, Sister, friend.

"To know her was to know strength itself… Raising four children after losing her husband, she then lost a son and more recently her sister."
