Holly Willoughby shares Glastonbury update after missing Monday’s This Morning

Holly Willoughby gave fans a glimpse of her Glastonbury 2023 experience on Instagram after missing Monday’s This Morning due to the festival.

The presenter, 42, took to social media on Tuesday to share two snaps from her time at Worthy Farm, the first of which saw her clad in a white dress and black felt fedora alongside a friend.

Meanwhile, another shot showed the ITV star looking out at the stage as her husband Dan Baldwin, 48, put his arm around her.

Willoughby’s social media update comes as she reportedly danced until the early hours of Saturday morning following Arctic Monkeys’ Pyramid stage headline set.

According to The Sun, the host partied until 2am alongside the likes Princess Eugenie, Peter Crouch, actor Jamie Dornan and Lily James in the VIP area and later at The Rabbit Hole.

Video footage obtained by the publication showed Holly having the time of her life as she put her worries behind her and danced the night away.

A source told the outlet: “Holly was laughing and joking with her friends from the moment she touched down.

“They had access to the VIP Winnebago camping area but Holly seemed keen to get among the crowds.”

An onlooker added: “She was dancing non-stop and having a ball. It was clear the stress of the past couple of months had subsided and Holly looked happier than ever.”

The star, who was pictured arriving to the festival by helicopter, missed Monday’s This Morning as she travelled back from the festival.

Instead, Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson filled in for her.

Willoughby’s appearance at Glastonbury marks her first big public outing following Phillip Schofield’s departure from ITV.

She had last month taken an extended break from This Morning after reports of a falling out with Schofield. She took an extra week off before her planned half-term break, returning to her presenting duties on only June 5.

The show has been embroiled in controversy after Schofield admitted having an affair with a younger colleague.

Schofield, 61, quit ITV over the scandal after revealing the “unwise, but not illegal” affair. He said he had lied to ITV about it.

“I am painfully conscious that I have lied to my employers at ITV, to my colleagues and friends, to my agents, to the media and therefore the public and most importantly of all to my family,” he told the Daily Mail.

“I am so very, very sorry, as I am for having been unfaithful to my wife.”
