Holly Willoughby says she 'isn't afraid' of the reaction to her ‘wacky’ wellness brand

Holly Willougby said she she 'isn't afraid' of the reaction to her new wellness brand Wylde Moon.

The 40-year-old This Morning presenter launched the lifestyle project, which is close to her heart, in October last year, and it focuses on spiritual and holistic practices.

Holly even started her own podcast, By The Light of the Moon, and each month, she uses the “unique energy of each of the eight moon phases” to speak to her famous friends and fellow celebrities about their lives.

However, she’s aware of the criticism surrounding Wylde Moon , and while she knows some will struggle with the “wacky” concept and ideas on her website, she’s unfazed by the comments.

“I'm not afraid of the reaction to it any more. If it doesn't fit with what your thoughts and expectations of me are, well then there's nothing I can do about it,” she said during her cover interview with Grazia.

“I can't change that. I don't want to change that. And I'm not going to change that. This is me,” she defiantly stated.

The mum-of-three said she was comfortable with the holistic and moon-focused practices she’s adopted into her own life, but doesn’t expect other people to find them useful, and would never dream of forcing the techniques onto her fans.

She said the moment Wylde Moon launched she was faced with a barrage of criticism that her new brand was too “wacky”, but she’s risen above the mean-spirited comments because she “expected it”.

“I'm not here to force any of this on anybody. It's not 'come and meditate with me' or 'look at the moon and play a sound-bowl',” Holly explained.

She said she just wants people to “go and do that thing that makes your heart sing”.

In her photoshoot for Grazia’s February issue, Holly looked sensational in a black Christopher Kane dress, with her blonde blunt bob roughly styled to give her an edgier look.

She finished off the ensemble with gold Swarovski chunky accessories, as well as s statement ring and hoop earrings.

Holly’s new wellness brand has been compared to Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, and when she launched her new project, the TV presenter said she would be helping to curate content focusing on her beauty, fashion and family life recommendations.
