Holly Willoughby says Gogglebox is 'brilliant' and names her favourite stars

Holly Willoughby has given fans a glimpse into her favourite TV shows when she is away from filming her own.

The presenter has been entertaining viewers for many years especially on ITV shows This Morning and Dancing On Ice.

The 40-year-old star has since said that she's a fan of Channel 4 hit show Gogglebox and revealed who her favourites are - which included Leeds sisters Ellie and Izzi Warner.

While speaking to Grazia, Holly said: "Oh God, I love that. Gogglebox is a b****y brilliant show. I love watching it anyway, so obviously when we pop up…"

Talking about her favourite Gogglebox stars, Holly revealed that she loves Ellie and Izzi, as well as Blackpool siblings Pete and Sophie Sandiford.

The This Morning host added: "I mean, it’s really hard not to love all of them, isn’t it?"

Holly is no stranger to Gogglebox and has previously made an appearance on the show but not how you would expect.

In 2016 she transformed into Channel 4 series stars Steph and Dom for the new Celebrity Juice Christmas special alongside Keith Lemon.

Holly kept her long blonde hair loose, she changed into cut-off white trousers and a posh cardigan, and Keith looked like a different person altogether.

Keeping his beard, the star wore a shorter grey cropped wig, and rocked pink shorts as he joined his co-star on the sofa.

Elsewhere Holly went on to admitted that she could only host This Morning with a friend.

She has hosted the ITV daytime show alongside Phillip Schofield since 2009 when she took over the gig from Ferne Britton and the pair have become close friends ever since.

She said: "It’s the best show but it is two-and-a-half hours of live telly. If you were to do that amount of live telly with someone who drove you nuts, wound you up, annoyed you in any way, well, I think you can only do that with a friend, day in, day out."

It comes after Holly insisted that she is "not retiring" from This Morning as she addressed "hurtful" rumours that she is leaving the ITV chat show last month.

The presenter said at the time that she feels "very lucky" to be on the award-winning show and working with her co-host Phillip.
