Holly Willoughby has appeared to hit back at criticism from her former This Morning co-star Eamonn Holmes.
Eamonn previously claimed both Holly and Phil, who recently quit the ITV show after admitting having an affair with a younger colleague, were 'distant' with crew members on set.
And Eamonn even claimed the presenting duo, who were sidekicks for over a decade, didn’t know their production team’s names.
Speaking to GB News, where he is now a presenter, Eamonn said of Phil: “People would avoid him in the corridor. He didn’t look at anybody, he didn’t know their names.”
The 63-year-old added: “Holly doesn’t know people’s names either. This is legendary within the production team. That’s how distant they are and they just don’t care.”
But during Tuesday’s episode of This Morning Holly appeared to prove Eamonn wrong when she gave a shout out to ‘cameraman Steve’.
It came as celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo almost hit poor Steve in the face as he popped open a bottle of Prosecco.
Holly exclaimed: “Oh my God. You nearly hit Steve!”
Co-host Dermot O’Leary said: “You almost hit him in the eye!”
“Jeez Louise. He needs those eyes. He’s on camera four,” Holly continued.
Gino then joked: “Camera four is down.”
“No one injure Steve for God’s sake,” said Dermot as Steve then gave a cheeky wave to the camera.
Causing more trouble on set, Gino made Holly and Dermot visibly squirm on the sofa when he made reference to the Phillip Schofield scandal live on air.
After an extended break from the show, Gino was back to whip up some summer desserts and cocktails.
The much-loved celebrity chef cheekily asked whether he had missed 'any news' over the past month upon his return.
Introducing himself, Gino joked he 'wasn't allowed to make anything with aubergines' before he quipped: "Everything is under control, I'm back. Anything in the news I should know?"
Dermot then looked at Holly and said: "This is the last time we will ever see Gino on This Morning."
Gino also hinted that he would be filling Phillip's shoes as a permanent presenter once September rolls around.
"See you all in September when I will be hosting," Gino said before Holly jokingly pushed him out of the camera view.
Phil had presented This Morning for more than 20 years before he sensationally quit earlier this year following his affair, which he said was ‘unwise, but not illegal’.
He has since cut all ties with the ITV channel so will no longer appear on This Morning, Dancing on Ice or The Cube and been dropped by his agents.
The revelations caused chaos on the This Morning set – with Holly’s future on the show also in doubt.
But since Phil left she has been presenting the show with Dermot O’Leary, Alison Hammond, Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle and a new line-up is expected in September.
