This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby has revealed which special eye product helps her to look so fresh and bright on one of the nation's favourite morning TV shows. It's become a monthly ritual for her Glam Team to talk people through the TV star's fashion and beauty tips on the website of her lifestyle brand - Wylde Moon.
In the March edition, Holly's makeup artist and beauty consultant Patsy O’Neill takes people through some amazing beauty tips that she usually keeps just for Holly. Patsy also talked about the go-to product she uses on Holly if she needs to brighten her eyes during the morning, and it only costs around £17.
The secret product is Liz Earle's Eyebright Soothing Eye Cleanser. How do you use it, you may wonder? Well, Patsy's advice is to apply some on to two cotton pads before placing them on the eyes. It's said you should then leave them to settle for between 30 seconds to a minute.
In the post, Patsy said: "You can keep this product in the fridge prior to use and when applied cold, it has an amazing cooling effect on the eyes. This product will also cleanse any mascara or eyeshadow residue.
"The main ingredient here is Eyebright or Euphrasia, a herb that’s been used in European herbal medicine in Europe for centuries, soothing minor eye ailments like redness and irritation. The herb’s Greek name, Euphrasia, means gladness, referring to how you may feel if the herb restores your eye health."
The formula is non-oily and gentle, and it works to both cool and hydrate. In a nutshell, it's the perfect remedy to combat tired eyes. In terms of price, the cleanser comes in at £17 for a 150ml bottle and you can pick it up at Liz Earle, but you can also order it on websites such as Boots and John Lewis & Partners.
According to Red Magazine, Holly seems to be quite a big fan of Liz Earle, as she previously spoke to the media outlet about other tips she's picked up from her. She previously told RED : "I got told quite a weird trick by Liz Earle once.
"She came on This Morning and she made a milk bath for Mother’s Day. She got that old school dried milk powder (like your nan used to bring on holiday to put in your tea) and dried rose petals covered in lots of rose and lavender essential oils, and mixed in with the milk powder.
"Then you just take a scoop and put it in your bath to make a milky bath - it’s so soft."
