Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield paid tribute to Tom Parker on Thursday's This Morning, following his tragic death at the age of 33.
On Wednesday, it was announced that Tom had passed away after battling a brain tumour for over a year.
Phillip read out the statement by Tom's wife Kelsey, which read: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side.
"Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.
"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.
"Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you," she added.
"It's so sad," mother-of-three Holly was heard saying as her co-host Phillip described it as "utterly heartbreaking".
Vanessa Feltz then said: "It's just the saddest of all stories, and just the deepest condolences to his family, and his friends, and his fans, and really I would say, people all over the world who came to have the absolute maximum respect for him.
"Because he was so young, so brave, so positive wasn't he? And he said this was all about living, this was not about focusing on the illness, but about how he could maximise every single moment of every single day," Vanessa added.
"It's completely heartbreaking," Holly continued. "There's no right time to go but 33, it's so young."
"If there is ever any good to come out of things like this, it's that he was such an inspiration, such a positive force," Phillip added.
Ending the discussion, Holly said: "On behalf of the show and all of us here, we send our love to Kelsey and the whole family, we're thinking of you lots."
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
