Holly Willoughby on 'gorgeous' snap of Harry and Meghan's baby girl as fans make same joke

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent the internet into meltdown earlier this week when they shared a new image of their daughter, Lilibet. Following a rare appearance in the UK, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released the photo on Monday, June 6, prompting Holly Willoughby to comment on the 'gorgeous' snap.

But the couple had their own occasion to mark as Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor turned one on Saturday, June 4. The adorable picture of Harry and Meghan's daughter, known as Lili, was taken by photographer and friend of the couple Misan Harriman, at a birthday picnic thrown for her at Frogmore Cottage on Saturday.

Harrys brother William and father Charles were off attending to their jubilee duties. The youngster was captured smiling as she sat on the grass while dressed in a pale blue dress with a white bow in her hair. And it is no surprise the sweet snap was the topic of conversation on Tuesday, including on This Morning.

The snap served as a rare opportunity to see the former royals' new baby. Many people also took to social media to comment on Lilibet's resemblance to her father, as seen in ManchesterEveningNews.

Holly, 41, was keen to discuss the photo on the ITV daytime show as she and Phillip Schofield discussed the latest news headline in the 'This Morning's View' segment. "Let's look at something rather lovely and gorgeous because last night Harry and Meghan released a photo of their daughter Lilibet as she celebrated her first birthday in the grounds of Frogmore Cottage at Windsor on Saturday," the mum-of-three said.

"It was described as an intimate backyard picnic with friends and family of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and there she is!" Holly added as the photo flashed up on the screen. Of course, this isn't the first photo, we did see a that lovely kind of profile shot of her as a tiny, weeny baby but there she is, little girl, one-years-old in the garden."

"A rare glimpse," guest Matthew Wright commented before bringing up surrounding rumours around whether the Queen refused to have a picture of her meeting her great-granddaughter for the first time.
