Holly Willoughby was absent from This Morning's opening to attend a family occasion.
Today’s show opened with Phillip Schofield hosting solo as his usual co-host was nowhere to be seen. Addressing the situation, he said: “You may have noticed that someone is missing - that’s because Holly is busy doing something that a lot of parents up and down the country can relate to, she is at Chester’s nativity play and she joins us now!”
Crossing over to Holly via video call, she was seen standing outside wrapped up despite the cold. She said: "It’s all very exciting! I’m at Chester’s school and the class are getting ready and at 10.15 am they will all be going on stage.
