Holly Willoughby looked a little bit embarrassed after she made a blunder on Thursday's episode of This Morning.
The latest instalment of the ITV show saw mum-of-three Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield invite Vanessa Feltz and Tom Swarbrick on to discuss some of the latest headlines.
The conversation soon turned to the news that the male contraceptive has been found to be 99 per cent effective when tested on mice.
"It will be trialled in humans later this year, it could be on the market within err five... months... I think that means," Holly, 41, began, sounding rather confused.
"Tests on mice have found it to be 99 per cent effective in preventing pregnancy with no side effects whatsoever," she continued before turning to Tom and asking: "Do you think men are likely to take this?"
"Well, it depends who's asking!" Tom joked, before adding: "I think yeah they would, I think that would be okay wouldn't it?"
But Vanessa didn't exactly agree as she chimed in: "I don't mean to be sexist or horrible, but all I would say is, if you can't trust a chap to take a mug and put it in the dishwasher, can you trust a bloke to take a contraceptive pill? It's just a simple question!"
"Harsh!" Tom butted in, as Holly added: "Vanessa, I'll let you bury yourself in that one!"
The mother-of-three then said: "Well yes so there you go, so we shall see, five months time we will find out won't we?"
"Oh is it five years?" she quickly added as a member of the crew mentioned something in her ear piece.
"Apparently it's five years so don't panic, you've got quite a while to wait to be proven right or wrong Vanessa!"
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
