Holly Willoughby has told fans she is 'hurt' by the fact that Phillip Schofield lied to her about his affair with a young This Morning colleague, claiming he told her there was no truth to the rumours about the 'unwise but not illegal' relationship.
On Friday evening, Phillip, 61, confessed to having an affair with the runner behind wife Steph's back and admitting that he had lied to ITV, the media and his own lawyer about what went on, before announcing he had stepped down from hosting the British Soap Awards and quit ITV altogether will immediate effect.
In the immediate aftermath of Phillip's statement, This Morning viewers called Holly into question for just how much she knew, well now the presenter has broken her silence to say that Phillip lied to her as well.
