Holly Willoughby said that she is suffering from "low self-esteem" as she has to clean up after her poorly pup each morning.
It comes after she gave a rare insight into her life as a mum and pet owner. Appearing on This Morning alongside co-host Phillip Schofield and guest Sonia Sodha, the mum-of-two opened up on her home life and how her dog, Bailey, is suffering from a bad stomach.
One of the stories being discussed was new research which suggests spending half an hour with dogs a week makes us more successful. Sonia said: "A pet is really good for your mental health. You know dogs are just the ultimate givers of unconditional love, aren't they? So yeah it is really good for you, who knew?"

The 42-year-old presenter agreed as she said: "I see it even with the kids. We got a dog but we weren't a dog family before. But even with the kids, even when they come home from school, whatever has been going on in their day and the moment they are with her you can just see it falling away and forgetting."
But she explained that having a dog isn't too joyful at the minute. Holly said: "However, Bailey does have an upset tummy at the moment and every morning I come down to the kitchen and there's a little present there for me. So my self-esteem is very low..."
"Just saying! So it can go the other way."
Phillip said: "Your rug is taking a bit of a battering isn't it?" to which Holly said: "It is. It certainly is."
