Holly Willoughby beamed as she joined Stanley Tucci at a star-studded event at Buckingham Palace earlier today.
Britain's Got Talent co-hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were also pictured sharing a joke with King Charles at the ceremony for the Trust Award 2023 winners and celebrity ambassadors.
Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, who now goes by her married name Horner, Oti Mabuse and Rylan Clark were also in attendance and seen laughing and joking with the newly crowned King.
Dressed in a light yellow dress for the occasion, Holly appeared to be fully focused on her duties as a trust ambassador and showed no sign of the drama surrounding herself and This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield getting to her.
The mum-of-three cut short her presenting duties on the ITV show short earlier today, leaving Phil hosting the daytime TV programme solo from around midday so Holly could get to Buckingham Palace in time for the event.
Speaking live on air, the pair bid each other farewell, with Holly telling Phil: "Be good, don't be naughty," before they embraced, woodenly, causing fans to wonder what was going on.
As she made her way inside the reception at Buckingham Palace, Holly reportedly refused to talk to press or answer any questions about her future on This Morning.
Royal reporter Richard Palmer said: " Holly Willoughby was among the showbiz stars meeting the King at a Buckingham Palace reception for The Prince’s Trust today.
"But the normally talkative This Morning host wouldn’t speak to the media and there was no sign of her co-host Phillip Schofield, also a trust ambassador."
Inside the Palace, Holly was all smiles as she stood alongside Hollywood actor Stanley Tucci to enjoy a conversation with the King of England.
It has been business as normal for Holly on social media, as the Dancing On Ice presenter continues to promote her business ventures and role at the Prince's Trust amid reports her friendship with co-host Phillip is over.
"Morning Wednesday… see you on @thismorning at 10am… the lovely @suranne_jones joins us today," Holly told her followers this morning on Instagram.
"I’m scootleing (is that a word) off early today to head to the Palace for the @princestrust … got my bested dress on!"
But behind the scenes it's Holly is contemplating walking away from her role on the ITV show.
She is said to "love" her work and doesn’t want to leave, but is struggling to cope with the situation.
"By removing herself from the situation she could protect herself better," a source has claimed to the Mirror.
"Holly is sick of being lied to," the insider added. "She feels trapped. She knows she could easily find another job at a different channel, so it’s up to ITV to give her assurances that she’ll be taken care of if she stays put."
Meanwhile, Phil returned to Instagram after a week's silence on Tuesday, all to promote one of his side hustle's away from the This Morning sofa.
After making an awkward return to This Morning this week, Phil took to Instagram to promote When In Rome wine - a brand he collaborates with.
Sharing a snap of himself chatting with When In Rome staff at the London Wine Fair, Phillip wrote: "Talking all things sustainable wine with @wheninromewine."
The under-fire TV star also shared a zoomed-in photo of himself smiling for the cameras as he filmed footage for television. Both Instagram Stories were were marked as 'paid partnerships with wheninrome', meaning Phil receives a fee for sharing the posts.
