Fans have told Holly Willoughby she gave them a 'pleasant surprise' as she continued with her own This Morning tradition despite the show being off air. The ITV daytime programme has been removed from the schedule alongside Lorraine and Loose Women to make way for coverage of the World Cup in Qatar.
Speaking during Monday's show, Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield confirmed that viewers won't be seeing them again until next week. While This Morning will actually be back for just one more day this week on Friday (November 25), it won't be the presenting duo at the helm.
"Right, the World Cup is on ITV for the next few mornings so Alison and Dermot will be with you on Friday, we will see you next week," Phillip confirmed as they closed the first show of the week yesterday. Holly added: "All that's left to say is good luck England, good luck Wales and we'll see you next week."
