Holly Willoughby has earned applause from her fans for her simple yet effective Halloween costume for This Morning's special episode. The ITV daytime show brought plenty of creepiness on Monday (October 31) with Uncle Fester and Wednesday Addams taking over from Holly and Phillip Schofield for one morning only.
But they weren't the only members of the well-recognized household who crept on to the ITV daytime show's set. There’s Morticia Addams, Cousin ‘Knit’, Gomez, and Pugsley Addams, among others spooking it up in the studio as part of the Addams Family-inspired transformation.
As well as Holly and Phil, Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary, Gyles Brandreth, Gok Wan and Steve Wilson were among those to have been swapped from the This Morning family for the Addams Family for a spooky surprise. This Morning also teased a mysterious guest lurking about, encouraging viewers to watch today’s show to find out who it is - if you dare!

The screen had also been taken over by a haunted glaze while the studio looked unrecognisable in comparison to how it usually appears. Prior to appearing on-screen, Holly took to Instagram to show off her look.
The 41-year-old could be seen walking the corridors of the ITV studio, donning a black wig that had been styled into two perfect plaits. She also stood in her usual spot to show off her outfit.
Holly could be seen donning a black, long-sleeved floral dress with an extravagant white collar, which she paired with tights and a pair of black heels. "Hello Monday… it’s Wednesday," she captioned the post to her eight million followers. This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna was the first to respond, writing: "AMAZING!!!!"
Fans were also filling the comments section. @soph3mai said: "This is everything! Holly you look amazing as Wednesday!" @jceeclay wrote: "Yess Holly, love it." @sarahreynolds6138 commented: "Looking fab. Happy Halloween Holly." @scrivens_007 echoed: "That was brilliant. Happy Halloween Holly."
There were also comments on the whole This Morning clan as they tuned into the latest episode upon seeing Holly's post. @stellafletcher80 wrote: "Brilliant costumes today. You all look great. I didn't recognise Phil at first." @brenda_and_dave replied: "Fabulous you guys look amazing."
Others couldn't help but comment on Holly's hair, almost going back to her roots as a brunette. @northernlass245116 said: "You really suit dark hair!" @holly.taylor25 post: "Your hair looks so nice dark." @scottthered added: "Holly with dark hair though."
