Holly Willoughby forgets Schofield drama as she helicopters into Glastonbury in £1k coat

Holly Willoughby is heading to Glastonbury Festival in style today as she flew by helicopter to Worthy Farm where the likes of Elton John and Guns N Roses will perform over the iconic weekend.

Mum-of-three Holly has been getting into the spirit of the festival already, being spotted by fans standing in line in one of the huge bar queues in the VIP area.

The TV star appeared to be a great mood as she waiting with the other VIPs to get a drink inside the special section for celebrities and certain ticket holders, but eventually gave up on the lengthy queue according to one onlooker speaking to the Mirror.

The This Morning presenter, 42, has had a rocky couple of months following her fallout with former ITV co-host, Phillip Schofield after his bombshell affair with a younger male colleague on the This Morning set was exposed.

However, Holly appears to have put the drama behind her as she looks forward to a wild weekend in Somerset with her celebrity pals.

The ITV star departed London in style today as she donned an outfit worthy of the Glastonbury hall of fame as she rocked a a colourful striped fringed jacket and some cut-off denim shorts.

Joined by her husband, Dan Baldwin, Holly looked relaxed and in high spirits as she was pictured walking to the helicopter and boarding the aircraft which is taking her to the 2023 festival.

Holly and her husband Dan will be in for a treat tonight as the Arctic Monkeys are set to headline the Pyramid Stage to kick off the first official night of music at the legendary festival.

Following Phillip's resignation, many This Morning fans have insisted that Holly has been 'a shell of herself' as they noticed her usual bubbly personality had vanished in recent weeks.

However, over the past two weeks, eagle-eyed ITV viewers have noticed that Holly's spark is finally back as she has been presenting alongside Dermot O'Leary this week, where she hasn't stopped beaming from ear-to-ear or giggling with her co-presenter.

It seems that Holly is finally ready to move on from the drama which engulfed her life for weeks on end, all the while, her former best friend Phillip has been afraid to go out in public amid fears that he will be 'abused' or 'spat on'.

Phillip, 61, was pictured in public for the first time in weeks after travelling to Cornwall to ride out his affair fallout earlier this week.

The fallen This Morning presenter appeared glum as he clutched onto a vape and had his bag slung over one shoulder as he prepared to celebrate his beloved mum's birthday.

Phillip stepped down from all hosting duties with ITV and was dropped by his agent after he admitted to an affair with a younger ITV employee.

The former ITV presenter later spoke about the affair and the impact the fallout has had on him in a candid TV interview with the BBC, where he admitted contemplating taking his own life.

He has since remained out of the public eye and has kept an incredibly low profile.

Last month, Phillip gave a series of bombshell interviews, where he discussed the impact the backlash to his affair admission had on his mental health.

At the time, the presenter said: "I do not know a time I will be able to walk out of the door. I don’t have any spirit. My friends tell me, 'It will get better'. It won’t. Not now. Not this one."

Phillip admitted he has never suffered any abuse in public before, but now fears he will be shouted at or spat on.
