Holly Willougby wowed her fans as she gave them a taste of what is to come in the fashion stakes when Dancing On Ice returns to screens this weekend. The presenter was dubbed 'mermaid perfection' as she dazzled in a floor-legnth gown during a press day for the ITV skating show.
She joined co-star and This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield for the preview as DOI returns for its 15th series on Sunday, January 15. This year's line-up of celebrities were also seen taking to the ice at ITV Studios at Bovingdon Airfield ahead of the competition beginning.
But all eyes were on Holly, 41, as she took to Instagram to show off her eye-catching attire for the event. Fans have described the look as if a 'mermaid and a disco ball had a baby' as the TV star dazzled in front of the camera.
The mum-of-three slipped into the plunging sequin gown as she posed alongside her co-host. Holly showed off her curves in the ice blue off-the-shoulder number while she wore her freshly chopped blonde locks in soft curls. Meanwhile, Phillip, 60, matched his friend and sidekick in a blue-grey double-breasted blazer which he teamed with a pair of black chinos.
Beaming backstage for her own snap, Holly could be seen excitedly smiling away from the camera. "Sequins at the ready…" she typed alongside the snap to her more than eight million followers.
"Today we had the press launch for @dancingonice … It’s happening @schofe!!!!!" she added. "So lovely to see all the class of 2023… can’t wait for Sunday @itv 6:30."
A second image also showed her cosying up for a selfie with Phillip. But the compliments were all for Holly. Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James said: "Wow you look insane!!" All Saints singer Nicole Appleton replied: "Gorgeousness." This Morning baker Juliet Sear wrote: "Looking INCREDIBLE."

Holly also had a message for Phillip as she shared their selfie to her Instagram Story. "Time to lace up your boots @schofe," she penned to which her pal re-shared the post and wrote: "Laced up."
Phillip also shared his own snap of the pair to his Instagram grid. It showed the pair sharing a laugh as they took part in the official photoshoot for the ITV show towards the end of last year. "Fully professional at all times @dancingonice is back," he wrote. "Sunday evenings sorted @hollywilloughby."
