Holly Willoughby ended up on her bum while trying to do the 'death drop' on This Morning.
The mum-of-three, 41, was trying to master the move after seeing it performed by dancers at Alison Hammond's birthday party.
Trying to tackle the move - which involves kicking a leg in the air before launching into the splits - Holly was left red-faced after collapsing to the floor during the ad break.
Phillip Schofield was in hysterics over his pal's antics as the presenter told him why she wanted to perfect the move.
Describing Alison's star-studded bash in Birmingham, Holly said: “There was one performance of the night where there was a dance troupe there and they did, what I've just discovered is called the death drop.
“One leg goes up and then bang you land in the splits. I may have just tried to reenact it. I might have slipped.”
She added: “I buckled under the weight. My knee went. It was quite an elegant fall, I didn't show anything.”
Phillip then joked: "No you didn't flash your knickers."
The father-of-two couldn't make it to Brum because it was his daughter Ruby's birthday, however he said he'd been tickled by his colleagues' tales from the night.
"Do you know what I'm loving? What I'm loving is that as a team here, gradually stories bit by bit, by bit are leaking out over Alison Hammond's party on Saturday night," he teased.
Phil added: "Loads of the team went. The photos are unbelievable and gradually, people are going, 'Oh my God, I did, didn't I?’"
The presenter later went on to explain why he couldn’t attend Alison's birthday, saying: “It was [my daughter] Ruby's birthday and she had a massive birthday party so I missed out on the party, but that was lovely to go to too and she had a ball.”
The party was awash with famous faces, including Carol Vorderman, Dermott O’Leary - and Gok Wan in the DJ booth.
Praising her pal for the 'bloody good' party, Carol shared snaps from the night in which the showbiz crowd looked like they were having a ball.
Alison hosted the party alongside her son Aiden, who has just turned 18.
He looked in great spirits alongside his mum's famous friends, even though the Big Brother star admitted Aiden didn't watch her on telly.
Alison told us: "I’ll be honest with you, he doesn’t [watch],"
He watches TikTok and YouTube, and he’s a gamer. I have to go up to him and say, 'Babes, watch the TV!' and then he’ll put the television on and watch it.
"Occasionally I’ll go home and he’ll say, 'I watched you today Mum, you were really good.' I say, 'How much did you watch then? Two minutes?!'"
