Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield say 'bye' as ITV This Morning guest walks off and mouths question while live on air

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left saying 'bye' to one of their latest This Morning guests as they walked off while still on air. The hosting duo were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (January 17) and had another busy show on their hands.

One of their guests during the second show of the week was Dr Nadia Alibhai who was giving viewers advice on how to get moving despite freezing temperatures. The osteopath was sharing simple lifestyle changes, and easy-to-do stretches, which will make sure you keep moving throughout the cold weeks ahead.

"Staying active during the winter can be hard, as a majority of the time the outside seems very unappealing," she said. "However, there is lots you can do inside to keep moving. Take up an indoor active hobby like skipping, go swimming, do a YouTube yoga class, or even just start stretching in the shower."

She added: "These will all help keep your joints mobile, as well as boost your mood." She also stunned Phillip when she earlier said: "My parents play badminton in the living room. I walked in and asked what they were doing, but they love to play badminton." Phillip exclaimed: "Badminton!! How big is their living room?" to which she said it's "not very big" and that the shuttlecock often getting caught on the "chandelier".

After giving some demonstrations of some simple moves people can do at home, Holly said "Get moving, even though it is cold! Alright, well, thank you very much," as they geared up for the next ad break. Phillip added: "Thank you, lovely to see you! Drive carefully."

He then jokingly added: "When you get home, make sure when you go round to see your parents you don't run over any deer in the driveway." Getting up from her seat, Dr Nadia said: "Stop it, stop it!" before hitting his knee and walking off the set saying: "They are going to kill me."

The hosts then started to laugh as Phillip, 60, remarked: "She's off, see you later," before Holly added: "Oh bye." Then hilariously, thinking she was out of shot, a camera caught her mouthing: "Was that live?" A giggling Phillip then turned to look directly into the camera before shrugging his shoulders and saying: "I don’t know."

And obviously This Morning viewers picked up on the moment. @paulpresenteruk asked: "Did she just walk off set??#ThisMorning," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis. @Colabubble tweeted in reply: "She was funny. I think she thought they were off air 5 mins before they actually were!"

@alexr_241 said: "Lol she didn’t know they were still filming #ThisMorning." @collins80105291 added: "I think she forgot they were still filming! #ThisMorning."
