The time has come for parents to get emotional as they send their children back to school following a long summer holiday.
Stars including Holly Willoughby and Michelle Heaton have flocked to Instagram to share emotional tributes to their kids as they leave the house and return to school for the first time in six weeks.
This Morning presenter Holly, 41, posted a sweet snap of herself cuddling her youngest son Chester as she was urged to savour the moment by fans.
Holly — who shares Harry, 13, Belle, 11, and Chester, seven, with husband Dan Baldwin — sat on the couch as her son lent on his mum, with his face turned away from the camera.
She captioned the post: " All the stripes and all the feels… soaking up the last few moments before back to school."
One fan commented: "This is just beautiful...and what life is about...enjoy the rest of your time with your lovely family," while a second added: "Enjoy enjoy moment they don't be small for long feeling ur love in this photo."
Former Liberty X member Michelle, 43, threw a party for her daughter Faith and her friends as they get ready to enter Year 6.
Posting a series of snaps from the sleepover, Michelle wrote: "As our girls go into year 6 we thought we would throw them a going back to school party …."
She said they had enjoyed watching She's The Man and added: "So proud of these girls becoming young women. Good luck girls xxx."
Michelle showed off an adorable tepee she had hired for the party, complete with floral decorations and a film projector.
Meanwhile, Love Island winner Nathan Massey shared a picture of his son Freddie in uniform as he skipped into school holding hands with his friend.
Nathan, 30, captioned the snap: "They say don’t blink when you have kids as they grow up so fast , they wasn’t wrong ! Good luck my boy."
TOWIE star Maria Fowler posted a hilarious picture on her Instagram Stories as she realised it was the return on the school run.
The 36-year-old posted a straight-faced selfie and wrote: "Realising it's back to the school runs tomorrow..."
She also said she was happy to get some alone time back as her daughter Evie heads to school.
EastEnders star Jacqueline Jossa posted a sweet tribute to her daughter Mia as she starts big school.
Posting a series of pictures from their recent family holiday, the 29-year-old said: "Family time is number 1 to me, it always has been. I have work coming up, Mia starting big school and a full on life to get back to, so this was much needed."
