Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have been pictured with smiles on their faces as they headed to work this morning.
The presenting duo looked much brighter than recent days as Phillip, 61, and Holly, 42, prepared to head to the ITV daytime show's set today – as they have been snapped with glum expressions in recent days.
Phillip was pictured in a dark blue checked shirt as he smiled and chatted with a man outside his West London home.
He had a smile on his face and appeared brighter than snaps taken in recent days, where he appeared glum as he headed to the This Morning studio.
Meanwhile, Holly also looked in good spirits as she headed into an awaiting car.
Holly's hair appeared to be damp as it is set to be styled when she heads onto the show's set.
She sported a dark navy blue sweatshirt and a turquoise lanyard around her neck along with a pair of glasses and a shoulder bag.
Holly added a pair of light blue denim jeans and pink and white Nike trainers, which were unlaced, to her look.
The TV star also held onto a large white paper bag as she made her way down the street en route to work.
The pair's perkier appearances comes after the Mirror revealed Phil could be facing the axe from the show if his on-screen chemistry with Holly is lost.
A source told us: "This Morning's relationship with its viewers is built on trust, and they have to believe that Holly and Phil’s friendship, and what they're watching, is real.
"While there was a bit of noise and speculation about their relationship cooling, it could have easily been ignored.
"But by putting this statement out there, he has turned what was a manageable situation into a feeding frenzy. If viewers now no longer believe in the pair, and make their views clear next week, make no mistake, ITV will act."
Amid growing reports of a feud, Phillip put out a statement where he said things had not "been easy" for him and Holly, fuelling more speculation the pair were no longer close as they once were.
Meanwhile, it has been speculated Phil isn't the only once facing the axe on the show as it's been claimed the programme is set for a 'bloodbath'.
A source told The Sun: "This Morning is preparing for some seismic changes this summer — and Phil is lined up as the first major name for the chop when his contract expires this summer."
Meanwhile, the insider added how the show are planning for a "new look This Morning" and many "feel it is time for some fresh blood" on the show.
This Morning boss Martin Frizell, who has been in charge since 2016, is also reportedly facing the end of his time on the show.
Meanwhile it has also been reported that Holly, who is said to be finding the backstage gossip 'toxic', has also considered quitting the show.
A source claimed to the Mirror: "By removing herself from the situation she could protect herself better."
