ITV1 morning show This Morning is known for its hilarious slip-ups and funny moments and chef Clodagh McKenna had Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and Richard E Grant in hysterics after she slipped up. Richard was appearing on the show to talk about his book A Pocketful of Happiness and stayed for the cooking segment as he's close friends with Clodagh.
Clodagh was cooking a cheesy egg dish, which is meant to be one of King Charles' favourite dishes, and accidentally said that Richard said cheese "tasted like bum" rather than what he said which was "cheese smells like bum". Richard quickly jumped in and said he had "not tasted bum" causing Holly and Phil to burst out laughing.
Clodagh said: "I messaged Richard on the way in today and I was like 'I'm making cheesy eggs, I know you don't like cheese, will you have it?' and he was like no way, it tastes like bum!" Richard quickly interjected: "It doesn't taste like bum, it smells like bum, I've not tasted bum!"
