Holland Taylor has said she won't film with girlfriend Sarah Paulson because she finds couples who share the screen off-putting.
When asked if she and Paulson would co-star in a film, she told Variety: “I can’t imagine. I don’t like seeing couples doing things because I’m always aware of the coupledom.”
She also revealed she and the American Horror Story star, 49, have had “one or two” offers to star together.
The Legally Blonde actress, 81, did say, however, that she would consider acting alongside her girlfriend in theatre production The Chalk Garden.
“It’s a very rarified kind of play,” she said of the 1955 murder mystery. which involves a grandmother, her granddaughter and a governess and was previously adapted for the big screen in 1964 with Deborah Kerr and Hayley Mills.
The couple have been dating since 2015 and have had to deal with endless interest in their nearly 32-year age gap.
Paulson last addressed the critics in 2018.
“If anyone wants to spend any time thinking I’m strange for loving the most spectacular person on the planet, then that’s their problem,” she told Modern Luxury at the time, adding, “I’m doing just fine.”
