Travellers looking for to enjoy a few days away could soon be rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous thanks to a new low-price deal to Lake Como in Italy. The resort has been dubbed 'the most beautiful place in the world' by some, but is often considered expensive due to its upmarket hotels and clientele.
Bargain website Wowcher is offering two, three and four-night stays at the upscale resort known for its dramatic scenery and historic villas, nestled at the heart of the Italian Alps. With the £59 flash sale, holidaymakers can get a two night trip to the fairytale location, including flights back.
Lake Como is a firm favourite with celebrities such as George Clooney, Madonna and Richard Branson, and it's easy to see why. But Wowcher's super low price £59 deal includes return flights from Manchester Airport and accommodation at one of two pre-selected hotels.
To experience some real Italian flavour, visitors can also book a wine-tasting tour during their stay, to discover how fine Italian wine is made at a typical winery on the shores of Lake Como.

As the third-largest lake in Italy, Lake Como is dotted with beautiful Basilicas, terraced villas and incredible scenic views. The weather is clement all year round, with March to October being the best times to capture the grandeur of the region.
At the time of writing, the £59 deal is still available for a two-night stay on selected dates in March 2024. The deal price includes two nights at the B&B Hotel Como City Centre or the Locanda Milano 1873 hotel.
Buyers are being urged to act quickly though, as this deal is already proving very popular and prices are set to rise throughout the summer season.
The price does not include transfers from Milan to Lake Como, so travelers will need to make their own way to their hotel, but it does include hand luggage and is based on two people sharing a room.

- Select the date you would like to travel. You will see on the website that prices rise considerably during the high season.
- Purchase your voucher and complete the transaction. For two people travelling, you will need to purchase two vouchers.
- Wait to receive a code to your email account which you can redeem online to confirm your booking.
Buyers will receive confirmation via phone or email from Wowcher, advising them of the details of their hotel and giving them the opportunity to upgrade for extra if they wish to.
