Hogwarts Legacy is out now for those who preordered the deluxe edition. Others will have to wait until Feb. 10, 2023, in order to play the latest Harry Potter game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, if you don’t have the newest consoles, or a high specs PC, you will still be able to enter the wizarding world. Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled to release on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, giving more people the possibility to play.
As the team is preparing Hogwarts Legacy for these lower-powered consoles, there is a bit longer people will have to wait until it’s ready. The different consoles will have different release dates, so some will have to wait longer than others.

Hogwarts Legacy: PS4 and Xbox One release date
Hogwarts Legacy is being ported to PS4 and Xbox One at the same time, but it is still a few months from release. It is currently scheduled to release on April 4, 2023. However, as the main game was delayed a few times before it came out, we are not excluding this possibility. On PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, it plays incredibly well, so it seems WB Games is putting a focus on quality rather than sticking to a deadline.
Hogwarts Legacy: Nintendo Switch release date
The Nintendo Switch release is coming even later than the PS4 and Xbox One ports. This one is set to release on July 25, 2023, though it appears to be the hardest console to port to. There are rumors that this version will likely be delayed or even canceled depending on how turbulent the porting process is.
