KOLKATA: For the first time in this edition of the Pro League, Australia failed to register a win as India held them to a 2-2 draw in regulation time after some brilliant defending at Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on Wednesday.
But Australia did prevail 3-0 in the shoot-out to grab the bonus point as Johan Durst denied all the Indian attackers from sounding the board. On the other hand, PR Sreejesh failed to make a single save. It was his third shoot-out this Pro League and the first time that he finished on the losing side.
