Hockey India prunes 60-member women's national camp to 33-member core group

Hockey India announced its 33-member list of women core probables, featuring experienced players like goalkeeper Savita Punia and forward Vandana Katariya, alongside several fresh faces. This pruned group will undergo training in Bengaluru until May 16 in preparation for the upcoming FIH Pro League fixtures.

Initially, Hockey India had enlisted 60 players for the camp, but after selection trials held on April 6 and 7 following the recent National Championship, the squad was reduced in size.
