A dangerous and reckless hit on Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave led to the disqualification of Denver Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson on Sunday at Empower Field.
Jackson was ejected from the contest after leading with his helmet, hitting Musgrave in the head/neck area and also hitting Musgrave as a defenseless receiver at the end of an 18-yard catch in the fourth quarter.
The penalty was good for 15 yards. Jackson stated his case with officials but was removed from the field.
Musgrave, the Packers rookie tight end, left the game following the hit. He previously suffered a concussion earlier in the 2023 season.
Jackson has been fined four times for illegal hits this season.
