Survivor is officially back after the BBC confirmed a huge 16-episode series of the much-loved reality show.
The popular competition, which was previously aired on ITV for two seasons in 2001 and 2002, will be back to welcome a brand new generation of castaways who will compete to become the Ultimate Survivor.
A new UK adaptation will see 20 players stranded in a tropical location competing to "outwit, out play and outlast their rivals", the BBC said.
