LUCKNOW: Two men succumbed to their injuries after they were hit by speeding vehicles in different areas of the city. In the first case, a 40-year-old man was hit by a speeding two-wheeler when he was returning with his son from the Aadhaar card office. The deceased was identified as Sudhir Singh Baghel. He was rushed to RMLIMS where he was declared dead, said police.
The other case was reported from Sarojninagar area, where one Chhotu was fatally hit by a speeding e-rickshaw. Based on the complaint by family members, police have lodged FIRs under the charges of rash driving and death by negligence.
