Historic Scottish island that sheltered Bonnie Prince Charlie goes on sale

A HISTORIC Scottish island believed to have sheltered Bonnie Prince Charlie following his defeat at the Battle of Culloden has gone up for sale for almost £1 million.

The Isle of Wiay, located off the east coast of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides, is being marketed at offers over £995,000.
