Historic moment as King Charles and Queen Camilla take to Buckingham Palace balcony

Buckingham Palace Prince Louis Kate Middleton Prince George King Charles III

King Charles and Queen Camilla have appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on Saturday afternoon following the Coronation ceremony.

The King and the Queen were joined on the balcony to watch the fly-past with The Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children George, Charlotte and Louis as well as other members of the royal family.

The military flypast over The Mall in Central London that signalled the end of the day’s proceedings was supposed to be made up of more than 60 aircraft from the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force, but it had to be scaled down to include only helicopters and the Red Arrows due to the poor weather.
