Former President Donald Trump claimed that Black, Asian American, and Hispanic workers experienced historic employment gains and record-low unemployment levels during his presidency. While there is some truth to his claims based on certain economic data points, these achievements have been surpassed during President Joe Biden's presidency.

It is true that the unemployment rate for Black, Hispanic, and Asian workers reached their lowest rates on record in 2019. This data has been issued by the government, with information for African Americans and Hispanics dating back to the early 1970s, and data for Asians going back to 2000.

Trump's claims of record-low unemployment for minority workers were based on accurate data.
These achievements were inherited from the positive trend under President Obama.

Trump inherited a positive trend that continued during his time in office. The unemployment rate for all three groups had significantly decreased under President Barack Obama from the recession-era levels of 2009.

However, Trump failed to mention that these records were surpassed under Biden's administration. The current data shows that the achievements in employment gains and low unemployment levels for Black, Hispanic, and Asian workers have been exceeded during Biden's presidency.
