Historic city proposal for return of Aboriginal land

A historic proposal to return capital city parkland to the Aboriginal community could lead to the creation of a "keeping spot" for culturally significant items.

Hobart City Council will vote on Monday night on whether to give in-principle support to the return of 4.9ha in Queens Domain to the Aboriginal Land Council of Tasmania.
