The former agent of Hirving Lozano says the 27-year-old still dreams of a move to Manchester United, seven years after unsuccessful talks with the club.
The winger was in discussions over a move to Old Trafford in 2016 when Jose Mourinho took the helm. A transfer never materialised and he instead joined PSV Eindhoven from native club Pachuca a year later.
In 2019, he secured a £40m move to Napoli, helping them to the Serie A title this season in his 32 league appearances. Lozano has 12 months remaining on his contract but could be one of the players that exits this summer amid heightened interest in club stars.
Lozano is being linked with a Premier League move amid reports mooting interest from West Ham and Aston Villa. However, former representative Alessandro Monfrecola says he is likely to turn down an offer from those clubs due to his affection for big-hitting outfits, such as United.

Speaking to Radio Punto Nuovo, he said: “West Ham and Aston Villa have shown interest in Lozano, but it seems to be a timid interest. Lozano has always dreamed of clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United, so I don’t think he can be very attracted to them [the other two].”
Back in 2016, Lozano’s father-in-law claimed a move to United was set in stone post-Rio Olympics. “Yes. It’s all done, just missing some details and after the Olympics, the deal will become official.”
This was then rebuffed by Pachuca’s vice president Anfre Fassi, who said: "Already there is negotiations with that team [United]? Yes. There is still nothing closed though."
A transfer was ultimately never agreed. Instead, the Reds brought in Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and £89m record club signing Paul Pogba.
