Himanta lays foundation for Adani Power's Rs 48,000-cr power plant in Assam

Guwahati, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday laid the foundation stone for Adani Power Ltd's Rs 48,000-crore thermal power plant at Chapar in Dhubri district.

The 3,200 MW Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant (USTPP) is touted as one of the largest single investments in the northeastern state.
