SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh reported 9 Covid-19 deaths and 787 cases on Sunday while 779 positive patients recovered in the state.
Four deaths were reported from Shimla district, 2 deaths from Kangra district while one death each has been reported from Kullu, Solan and Chamba districts. The state has total 27,00,78 confirmed positive cases of which 9,452 cases are active, 25,66,30 patients have recovered while 3,978 patients have died.
Maximum positive cases have been reported from Hamirpur, Kangra and Solan districts. So far total 4302051 persons have been tested for Covid-19 till date of which 4031435 have been tested negative. Since 7 pm on Saturday, total 4915 samples were tested in the state while results of 538 samples are awaited.
97 positive cases were reported from Bilaspur district, 42 from Chamba district, 108 from Hamirpur district, 148 from Kangra district, 2 from Kinnaur district, 19 from Kullu district, 76 from Mandi district, 29 from Shimla district, 83 from Sirmaur district, 114 from Solan district and 69 from Una district.
