Hima Das will miss Asian Games due to hamstring injury, says chief coach Radhakrishnan Nair

NEW DELHI: Indian athletics chief coach Radhakrishnan Nair has confirmed that star sprinter Hima Das will not be able to participate in the upcoming Asian Games in China due to a hamstring injury she sustained in April.

The 23-year-old athlete had won a silver medal in the 400m individual event at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games. She was also part of the gold and silver-winning women's 4x400m and mixed 4x400m relay teams in Jakarta.
