Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently expressed her concerns about former President Donald Trump, stating that he has become 'more unhinged, more unstable, and more dangerous' since their 2016 election showdown. Clinton highlighted Trump's erratic behavior during rallies and speeches, describing them as 'word-salad-after-word-salad.'
Clinton praised Vice President Kamala Harris for focusing her campaign on highlighting the dangers posed by Trump, emphasizing the lessons learned from the past eight years. She noted that the warnings about Trump's behavior are coming not only from Democrats like President Obama but also from individuals who closely observed Trump during his time in the White House.
These comments from Clinton come in the wake of revelations made by Trump's former chief of staff, Gen. John Kelly, who labeled Trump as meeting the definition of a 'fascist.' Kelly also disclosed Trump's preference for a dictatorial style of governance and his admiration for the deference shown by Hitler's Nazi generals.
Trump, however, denied making the reported comments about Hitler and criticized the media outlets that published them. Meanwhile, Vice President Harris echoed Kelly's sentiments, describing Trump as 'dangerous' and warning about his potential misuse of the Justice Department if re-elected.
Clinton concurred with Kelly and Harris's assessment of Trump as a fascist and urged the public to recognize the threat he poses to the country. Reflecting on the 2016 election, Clinton humorously noted that Harris does not have to contend with the same challenges she faced, particularly referencing the controversial FBI probe led by James Comey just before the election.
