A hilarious video of a Scots man pretending to be a truck at McDonald's drive-thru has gone viral on TikTok.
The footage, captured at the Leven branch in Fife on Saturday night, has been viewed over 260,000 times as it racked up 20,000 likes since being posted two days ago.
In the video captioned 'only in Scotland', a man can be seen walking up to the speaker at the drive-thru as he makes car noises on approach.
He shouts "hello" before an employee replies "excuse me mate, I'm going to have to ask you to get out the drive-thru".
Undeterred by the request to leave, he continues to try and order a Big Mac but is told he needs a car to receive any food as the restaurant area has now closed.
"I'm trying to drive through," he continues, as the frustrated staff member perseveres to explain he can't place an order.
Appealing to the employee, the prankster says: "I'm trying to pretend I'm in a car so I can get some food please."
Before adding: "Vroom, vroom."
He is swiftly told: "I dinny accept pretend vehicles."
The shadow of his head can be seen on the speaker as no other cars, or people, appear to be present in the lane.
After making further car noises and discussing why it might be a health and safety hazard with a McDonald's server, he claims no one will run him over as it will hurt the car.
In a last attempt to get the Big Mac meal he's been craving, he claims he identifies as a truck.
"I am a vehicle, I'm a f***ing truck," he boldly states.
"You trying to say I don't identify as a truck?"
But he is told: "Identify as whatever you want mate, it still doesn't excuse the fact that you're not in a vehicle."
As he responds: "But I identify as a truck so I am a truck. Vroom. Look see, I am a truck. Vroom. I'm a truck."
The two-minute long footage ends with a sign as the man realises despite his best efforts, he has no chance of being served.
Social media users were left in stitches after watching the clip as some hailed the footage as 'legendary".
As app users flocked to the comment section, over 900 comments were left on the post.
One person said: "The fact he's vroom vrooming walking up to the speaker before he's identifying as a truck."
Another added: That's so funny. He deserves a burger."
While one wrote: "Canny beat a bit of Leven entertainment at night."
And one comment read: "I identify as a truck, best quote ever."
