It was quite the night for Drogheda United's Ryan Brennan as he scored two goals, got one over on his former side and pulled off a hilarious celebration in the Drogs 3-1 over Damien Duff's Shelbourne.
The win was made even sweeter for Brennan given he was unceremoniously booted out of Shels by Duff when the ex-Chelsea player took over the League of Ireland side.
Time clearly hasn't healed the relationship between the two, as Brennan revealed that his unique belly-rubbing celebration after his stunning second goal of the game was in response to 'fat boy' jibes aimed at him from the Shelbourne bench.

"There was a few words exchanged that I think were quite out of order from one professional to another," Brennan told LMFM after the game.
"Being called 'fat boy,' a former pro to another, who played at the top of the game, I think it's fairly disrespectful."
Brennan didn't let the jibes get to him too much last night as he turned in a virtuoso display in Drogheda's come from behind victory. The former Shels man levelled things up midway through the first half with a cool side footed finish from the edge of the box.
Dayle Rooney smashed home a spectacular volley to put Drogheda ahead in the second half, while Brennan completed the comeback with a quality volley of his own to wrap things up with 15 minutes to play.
